TWO INTERNATIONAL PRINT SALONS TO ENTER

From our Internationals Correspondent

The results of The London Salon will shortly be announced, so now is a good time to make you aware of two other International Salons that you may wish to enter.

Alongside the Royal Photographic Society's International Print Exhibition and The London Salon, the Edinburgh International Exhibition of Photography is one the most prestigious International Salons for print workers to try and get an acceptance. Generally around 3000 prints are submitted with just over 200 accepted and put on display in Edinburgh. Established in 1861 and now in its 149th year, to get an acceptance in this Salon is a massive achievement. Not only that but 3 Gold FIAP medals and 6 FIAP ribbons are up for grabs.

The closing date is 17th June and more information about the entry rules and fees is available at www.edinburghphotgraphicsociety.co.uk

The Solway Salon has also just been announced and this is a new salon for print workers. Closing date is 1st June and more details about the entry conditions and fees is here: www.westcumbriaphotogroup.co.uk

Good luck!
