The Port of Tyne Reflect Awards 2011 photography competition is now open for entries, inviting entrants to show the North East as they see it, in films and in pictures.
Both photo and film entries are accepted, with a new youth category added to the film section. Anyone wishing to enter must register on line and upload their submission by 30th September.
There are three categories in the photography section: North East Places, North East Environment and North East People. Pictures have to be taken between Sept 2010 and Sept 2011
The chosen entrants will win a cash prize as well as see their masterpiece on display in the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art during Turner prize season.
