News Flash: Robin Wallace Kicks off 55th Year as a Member

Robin Wallace joined Durham Photographic Society in April 1958 and has enjoyed 54 years of continuous membership ever since. He is affectionately known as Father of the House by virtue of this being the longest period of any member. Robin is still very active with his own photography, taking care of Press for the Society, encouraging new members and holding his own in competitions. He is a Past President of the Society, and one of four current Honorary Life Vice Presidents which is the highest honour the Society can bestow.

Robin, who is one of those people who always puts a smile on your face, said “I’ve enjoyed every minute. I have had many great friends over more than 50 years with the club and now enjoy the company of newer members with whom the Society has a great future”.
