ASSIGNMENT STANHOPE SHOW
Come and join us! The trip to Stanhope Show is on Saturday 10th September. Show opens to the public at 9.00am and we meet at the entrance at 10.00am.
Lunch is booked at the Black Bull, Frosterley for 1.00pm. Re entry to the show is OK as you will be stamped as you leave the field.
All members welcome. There will be a follow up session where prints are shown. Images from the day will appear on the Assignments Gallery on the DPS website.
DPS Exhibition: Big Meeting Memories
On Saturday 10th September the Society will be showing prints of the Durham Miners’ Gala at the Heritage Open Day at Bowburn Community Centre, Celebrating Miners’ Lodge Banners. The event is sponsored by Bowburn Banner Group and a large number of banners will be on display. The photographs on show were taken by Society members over the years 2006 to 2009 as part of an Awards for All and DCC funded documentary project.
3rd PROGRESS PRINT COMPETITIONS
The closing date has been extended to next Thursday, September 15th. You can supply digital copies by email to Alan or bring in. This is for projection during the results night.
