ASSIGNMENT STANHOPE SHOW

The trip to Stanhope Show is on Saturday, 10th September. Show opens to the public at 9.00am.The nearest car park is at the west end of the town, past the fossil tree and down the slope. The park is accessed by the entry to the baths on the left hand side. From there it is a short walk, over the river, to the Show field. For a head count for lunch I suggest we meet at the entrance at 10.00am as usual.

Lunch is booked at the Black Bull, Frosterley for 1.00pm. Re entry to the show is OK as you will be stamped as you leave the field.

All members welcome. There will be a follow up session where prints are shown. Images from the day will appear on the Assignments Gallery on the DPS website.

Clear orf! The DPS photographers are over there! TG

NEXT WEEK

We have Brian Clough, the former well known press photographer and raconteur. Members will remember from his last visit when he opened our Annual exhibition just what a good speaker he is with a wealth of anecdotes about his life in photography.
