***Important news for anyone intending to go to the Whitby Goth Weekend 25th-27th March***
I have been made aware that, for reasons unknown to me, the Goth festival is being split and held over 2 consecutive weekends i.e. 25th-27th of March and also 1st-4th April. The 2 events are being promoted by 2 different promoters: Dark Daisy Promotions, and Top Mum Promotions(the regular promoters). Quite what effect this will have on the numbers attending are unclear but I am led to believe that the steampunk group who regularly attend will be at the April event only. It is hard to predict whether one weekend will be more popular or better than the other as official details are a bit sketchy.
