Close Encounters of the Furred Kind, Ann and Steve Toon
Yet another great night with visiting photographers to look forward to:
Ann and Steve Toon are a husband and wife team of wildlife photojournalists, who share a deep love for Southern Africa, its amazing wildlife and wild places. Both had successful careers in print journalism before turning to professional wildlife photography. As well as many magazine and newspaper articles, they have published three books, two about the techniques of wildlife photography, and one about rhinos. They also run wildlife photography workshops about which at least one of our members is very enthusiastic.
They live on the edge of Kielder Forest but their favourite place on the planet remains the Kalahari.
