What a treat we have in store! Tony is a hugely charismatic and entertaining speaker who invariably shows lots of great pictures.
Tony is a member of West Cumbria Photography Group which is not an organised club as we know it. To quote from his profile in Northern Focus on the NCPF website, “A pet hate of Tony’s is organised photography and its committees and nepotism as he believes photography is about pictures not power and glory”.
Eh? Does he mean us?! Hopefully not as the legacy of the great Harry Holder and others, who also believed photography is about pictures, lives on.
