Club Night News: 26th July

August Break

We had a big finish to the first part of our calendar with a fantastic members’ Audio Visual night. Well done everyone concerned. It was a great night. There are no Thursday night meetings in the hall until 6th September when we have one and only Des Clinton FRPS FIBE from Ireland to look forward to

Club night extra - 9th August

Ian Stafford and Paul Travis are organising this special extra evening of practical photography. Meet at 7.00 pm outside the club night venue. Bring cameras and flash equipment. Photography will be around the nearby peninsula. There will be demonstrations of off camera flash lighting for environmental portraits. Plus opportunities to learn and practice other camera techniques. Model(s) will be provided

Town Hall Exhibition – last chance to see

The current Olympic Flame, BRASS and Big Meeting show will come down early 1st August. The exhibition, with sections changing throughout June and July, has been very well received by the public

Northern Counties International Salon of Photography 2012

Closing date is 16th August. Still time to send in your PFI and print entries into our ‘local’ international. Rules, categories, entry forms etc are here:

UHND exhibition

The first changeover of this permanent display will be in September. Let Barry know if you would like to show work. The current exhibition can be seen by public, patients and staff on the 1st floor next to ENT department
