Town Hall Exhibition - latest
A panel of Durham Miners’ Gala prints will go up this weekend to co-incide with the Big Meeting. The popular panel of Olympic Torch Relay prints remain.
Practical Photography Night 9th August
Ian Stafford and Paul Travis are organising this special extra evening in the calendar. Meet at 7.00 pm outside the club night venue. Bring cameras and flash equipment. Photography will be around the nearby peninsula. There will be demonstrations of off camera flash lighting for environmental portraits. Model(s) will be provided
Northern Counties International Salon of Photography 2012
Closing date is 16th August. David Trout will deliver members’ print entries if at the club by 25th July (complete with payment!)

Big Meeting Saturday 14th July
Many members will be out and about for one of the biggest days in the Durham calendar. If it’s your first time you should see fellow members around and everyone is happy to help re good vantage points etc. Email Tony if you’d like a copy of some briefing notes for new members.
