Club Night News: 2nd February

Assignment Hexham

Saturday 11th February. Meeting in at the bandstand 10.00 am. All members are welcome. A good time will be had by all. Great photography opportunities will abound. There may even be the chance of snapping a winner for the Fillingham Trophy which has the set subject, “This Sporting Life”. Images from previous assignments are in Assignments on the home page of the DPS website.

NCPF Championship

The championship, with clubs from all over the Northern Counties Photographic Federation, will be at Washington CC, Harraton Community Centre, Bonemill Lane, Washington, NE38 8BQ, 12th February. Prints are handed in at 12.30 and the event starts at 1.30. All members of NCPF clubs can attend. You can see the images and prints come up and be scored by three judges using electronic scoring devices. It’s a fascinating insight into club world competition. Our entry will be organised by Joe Grabham and his team.
