CLUB NIGHT NEWS 1.1.11

With 2011 pictures yet to be taken, with 2011 competitions yet to be won and our 2011 programme yet to be experienced, Happy New Year from your Blogger team! The exciting programme for 2011 has already been posted on the website.

2011 Here We Come!

FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR – 6th JANUARY

By tradition it’s President’s Night and David Trout will surprise and delight us with his outstanding photography.

Angy’s pre-payment of subs and award dinner money scheme should ease the pressure on the night of having to queue. The subscription of £35 has been the same for many years and is fantastic value.

If you haven’t done so already, please return 2009 trophies January 6th latest – we need to have them engraved with the names of the 2010 winners in time for the Annual Presentation Dinner on the 28th January.

ST CUTHBERT’S HOSPICE CALENDAR 2012

Top pictures needed. Ideal spec: high resolution jpegs, Durham related, reflecting the seasons, could include iconic events. Images on disc and captioned with the photographer’s name. Please drop them off at the club on 6th January if possible. Full photo credit will be given.

DPS BOTANIC GARDENS EXHIBITION: Folio 2011

Still time to put your name down at the club but hurry to avoid disappointment. Bring in your print in a 20x16 inch mount any time until 3rd February. 20x16 because that is the size of the club frames.

DIGITAL NIGHT

There is no meeting in January. Next meeting will be Wednesday 2nd February.
