Photographic Evening on Friday 11th September from 6pm till 10pm. We have for the past 4 years held this event inconjunction with a main "Legends of Industry" Steam Gala Weekend which takes place on the 12th & 13th September. During the Photographic Evening we have all our home fleet steam locomotives in steam posed outside our magnificent 1854 Marley Hill Engine Shed, plus two visiting locomotives. At 6pm the engines will be lit up and gradually warmed through, at approx 8pm the locos can be moved about, with various cameo scenes including people and vintage vehicles, the night will finish with all the locos fires cleaned, gradually moving back in the shed for some interior photographic possibilities. The night is usually popular and resonably priced at £7.50 per person, paid at the gate on the night.
