This month we have seen two sets of competition results. I am constantly amazed by the standard of work we see from our members in these events. It must augur well for a superb Annual Exhibition in the Cathedral. A discussion evening courtesy of the Victoria group was enjoyed by all who attended and a superb evening by Anne Greener and Rod Wheelans did full justice to the memory of Harry Holder whose bequest provided the funding for the event.
I was pleased to see some of our newer members giving demonstrations to the digital group. There is also a small exhibition of pictures by people who have joined relatively recently in ‘Jessops’ Sunderland branch which is a credit to the members and to the Society. I personally am very pleased that we have newer and often younger members so willing to participate.
