Town Hall Exhibition - latest

A panel of brass music prints will go up this weekend to co-incide with BRASS Durham International Festival. The popular panel of Olympic Torch Relay prints remain.

Members Night 12th July

Will this be the night of the year?! As well as presentations by fellow members showing and talking about their work, members are invited to bring along their self-published photography books for perusal in the breaks.

Practical Photography Night 9th August

Ian Stafford and Paul Travis are organising this special extra evening in the calendar. Meet at 7.00 pm outside the club night venue. Bring cameras and flash equipment. Photography will be around the nearby peninsula. There will be demonstrations of off camera flash lighting for environmental portraits. Model(s) will be provided

Streets of Brass kicks off in Durham City this weekend and there is a DCCBA Entertainment Band Contest in the grounds of the DLI Museum on Sunday. Why not visit the excellent Julian Germain’s Big Meetings exhibition while you are there? Next Saturday is Big Meeting day. Advice for new members wanting to get the best out of the day will be available next club night.

Hexham and District PS Annual Exhibition

All who saw Leo Palmer’s truly outstanding talk last night will be keen to see Hexham’s latest work. Their annual exhibition is on at the Moot Hall Gallery, Market Place, Hexham 23rd July – 4th August 10.00 am – 5.00 pm
