We now have a Durham Photographic Society group just for DPS members on Facebook organised by Sarah Hewitson. Pictures and comments are freely flowing. Set up a week ago and 25 members already. Contact Sarah if you’d like to take part and don’t know how!

Club night extra - 9^th August

Next week it’s Members’ AV night and the last club night before we close during August. However, do not despair, Ian Stafford and Paul Travis are organising this special extra evening of practical photography in the calendar. Meet at 7.00 pm outside the club night venue. Bring cameras and flash equipment. Photography will be around the nearby peninsula. There will be demonstrations of off camera flash lighting for environmental portraits. Plus opportunities to learn and practice other camera techniques. Model(s) will be provided

Next Digi Night, 5^th September

One for the diary, this too will focus on camera skills and techniques. Organiser John Gordon
