Annual Exhibition – latest

Look out for Brian Wilcockson’s “Wall Paintings, Galilee Chapel” on display. Then try and find the paintings high up in the glorious roof of the chapel. It is hoped that laminated versions of Brian’s photograph will be supplied to the cathedral guides so visitors can see more clearly the detail of the ancient paintings.

Among the 100’s of visitors enjoying the bonus of finding our exhibition in this World Heritage location was the  Town Mayor and Mayoress of Spennymoor, Cllr.George Tolley and Mrs Anne Tolley, seen here in a photograph by Alan Stott.

Veronica Barker’s print (as mentioned on club night) has been replaced with an alternative. Be sure to visit and check out the feisty pensioner’s (29 years a member) latest work.

Be sure not to miss out on the opportunities to steward the exhibition, meet people from all over the world, talk photography and answer any questions about the Society and the work on display. It’s OK just to turn up, and have more than one steward at a time. There is a rota at the club as well where you can put your name down
