The results of the monochrome and colour print sections of the 32nd Northern Counties International Salon of Photography 2011 are now in. One of the distinguished judges was none other than Peter Rees FRPS EFIAP/p MPAGB who was so recently at the club and what a great night that was!
Three of our members were successful in having acceptances into the Salon:
Lilian Blot with three acceptances in the monochrome section: Controlled Flow, Dramatic Teesdale and Solitude.
David Trout and Neil Maughan were accepted in the colour section with Blizzard and Katya respectively.
You have only to look at the roll call of top flight photographers from around the world also accepted to realise what a great achievement it is for our three to have done so well. Many congratulations!
The Projected Digital Image sections results will follow some time after selection on 11th September. Meantime, full print results are here:

As an extra point of interest, Lilian’s Dramatic Teesdale was taken during the recent Teesdale assignment, and the sky in the image came from another assignment in Saltburn. The moral of this story is clear!
