Sunday 11th September
A large number of Durham Light Infantry veterans, family and well-wishers assembled for the Annual Reunion in the DLI Memorial Gardens and surrounding area of Durham Cathedral prior to a service. A colourful and moving sight it was too. There was a parade, march past and laying of a wreath as well as much renewing of old comdradeships. The Borneo Band was in attendance, as superb as ever.
Once again, members of Durham Photographic Society, led by John Attle, were on hand to take photographs for the DLI Association. These images will appear on line soon.
