Saturday 10th September
Our next outing is to the 170th annual Stanhope Show in Weardale, meeting for a head count at 10am near the entrance. The nearest car park is at the west end of the town, past the fossil tree and down the slope. The park is accessed by the entry to the baths on the left hand side. From there it is a short walk, over the river, to the Show field.
The show opens to exhibitors at 8.00 and the public at 9.00 a.m.
Colin’s extra challenge is: "WINNER (S)"
or perhaps the harder, "NON WINNERS"
Lunch is booked at the Black Bull, Frosterley for 1.00pm. The one we went to when we were at Westgate. Re entry to the show is fine as you will be stamped as you leave the field by the girls from Barclays.
There will be the usual follow up meeting where prints are shown and discussed. All members are welcome to join us especially if you have not yet been on assignment. Colin has all the information and you can be on his mailing list.
