HOT DATES SPECIAL: NCPF Beamish Weekend 18th, 19th 20th June

Members of NCPF Affiliated clubs and their family and friends will, on production of an 'NCPF pass' now available on the next two DPS club nights, enjoy discounted admission fees over the weekend. Prices per day (10am-5pm) are Adults £11, Seniors £10, Children £6 (normally, Adults £16, Seniors £13, Children £10). The normal prices allow you to visit as often as you like for a year so would be the better deal unless you only envisage one visit in the year.

As well as the myriad of photographic opportunities, there is the ‘The 2011 Beamish Reliability Run’ to look forward to: members’ parties visiting the Museum on the Sunday (19th June) of the ‘NCPF Beamish Weekend’, will experience an added attraction. The annual ‘Reliability Run’ for Classic Cars (pre 1956) that has been operating since 1970, will see these historic vehicles leave the Events Field in the Museum from 8 a.m. to complete a circular, 150 mile route, hopefully to return from approximately 3pm onwards. Beamish have agreed to admit pass-holders in at 9am and stay until 6pm (a one hour extension either way) to enable them to take advantage of this occasion.
During the entire day there will also be an extensive static display of these fine vehicles.

There will also be an exhibition of members’ prints, which will be for sale and there will be a competition, the “NCPF Beamish Trophy”, which will be for prints of images exposed at and during the event.
