It’s a double whammy if you can help out local good causes and at the same time have the opportunity to practice your photography skills. There were two such this weekend in June:
Armed Forces Day June 24th
In Durham, this day was marked by the presentation of armed forces Veterans Badges at a special event at County Hall. There was also brass band music and a battle drill display by the 68th Society of the Durham Light Infantry. DPS members took pictures for the DLI Association and these can be viewed here: LINK
Mini Moto June 25th
The Scottish Mini Moto Championship Round 3 took place right here in Co Durham at the Warden Law track. A group of DPS members (some pictured) were able to take pictures trackside thanks to Durham Constabulary’s Bikewise. The images can be viewed here:
