EXHIBITION NEWS – FOLIO 2011

Durham University Botanic Garden

This long awaited exhibition by Durham Photographic Society members is now open in the café of Durham University Botanic Garden and is on until Friday 4th March. The garden is open from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm during February and 10.00 am to 5 pm in March and well worth a visit too. Entrance to the café is free and there is a small charge to visit the garden itself: www.dur.ac.uk/botanic.garden

DPS organiser Don Bennett DPAGB (pictured) said, “I am very pleased with how well this has come together and I would like to thank Dennis Hardingham, John Attle, Barry Armitage and Alan Stott for their hard work behind the scenes and the small army of volunteers who joined them on the day to hang the exhibition”.

DPS President David Trout said, “Here we have a wonderful show of marvellous prints by 49 different photographers, not just a few stars - there is such a diversity of subjects and styles in the pictures too. I love them!”.
