ASSIGNMENT BANKS OF THE TYNE!
Next up is the Newcastle Gateshead banks and bridges of the Tyne between the Millennium and Redheugh Bridges. We will meet at the east entrance of The Sage Gateshead this coming Saturday, 6th November at 10.00 am.

While at The Sage, take the opportunity to visit he Durham Photographic Society exhibition, The Music Factory, in the the Explore Music library just inside the east entrance.
WILL CHEUNG FRPS, MY PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY
Exclusive to DPS members and guests, this will be an exciting lecture by the by the world renowned photographer Will Cheung. Will has promised digital projection and “snaps” ( i.e. prints!). If you haven’t already, you can collect your ticket(s) on club night next week.

THE MUSIC FACTORY, The Sage Gateshead
There has been critical acclaim for the DPS exhibition of photography in the ExploreMusic section of The Sage Gasteshead. Organised by Alan Stott, The Music Factory is a photographic essay by members of Durham Photographic Society on the theme of making music and is on until early in 2011. Members were treated at the club night to a slide show AV of stunning images featured in the exhibition.

Members wishing to raise items at the AGM that change the rules of the Society need to send a written proposal, with an agreed seconder, to the general secretary before 11th November.
Other items that require your new committee to consider should also be in writing and will be added to Any Other Business.

REMEMBRANCE, Durham Town Hall
The 6th DPS exhibition of 2010 is now on in the Durham Town Hall entrance gallery until November 30th.
The theme of Remembrance is to tie in with Remembrance Sunday 14th November. DPS members will be on hand to photograph events at the Cathedral, marching through the City and in the Town Hall for the Durham Light Infantry Association veterans. Info from John Attle: johnattle@yahoo.co.uk
