County Hall 7.00 to 9.00 pm. Last digital night of the year. Free to members. Come along and be amazed.

GB CUP

Thanks to those of you who emailed pictures to Joe. The selectors (Joe, David T and Colin) will now check these out along with recent digital competition entries, and decide which will represent the club in the PAGB GB Cup competition against clubs from all over the country. ASSIGNMENT GROUP

Following the success of Assignment Banks of the Tyne, next up is Assignment Metro Centre – Saturday 11^th December. The aim would be to get there early and leave at lunch time before the mass exodus. More details to follow and from Colin: colinarmstead@tiscali.co.uk.

DPS BOTANIC GARDENS EXHIBITION: FOLIO 2011

We will once again be putting on an exhibition of prints in this prime venue. The exhibition will run from 12^th February to 4^th March 2011. There is space for 47 framed prints so members will have to put their name down at the club if they would like to take part. It will be entirely democratic and on the basis, “First come, first served”. Then simply bring in your print (in 20x16 inch mounts) any time from next week until 3^rd February. We are fortunate that Honorary Life Vice President Don Bennett DPAGB will be organising.

ST CUTHBERT’S HOSPICE CALENDAR 2012

Please donate your best pictures for a very good cause. Six of our members contributed to the St C 2010 calendar along with Joe Cornish and others. Ideal spec: high resolution jpegs, Durham related, reflecting the seasons, could include iconic events such as the Regatta, Miners’ Gala etc. Images on disc if possible and captioned with the photographer’s name. Please drop them off at the club by 1^st week back in January. Full photo credit will be given.
