Yes, our intrepid and beloved Durham PS member Lilian Blot, originally from France, has put into good use the skills of photographing in all English weathers first learnt on outings to the plains of Pickering with fellow members (Les mousquetaires) who taught him all they know.
As always, kitted out with trade mark English brolly and French aplomb, he was able to photograph the recent floods in York and the resulting picture was eagerly accepted by the BBC
