Vote of Thanks – History is Made!
At the first meeting of the club in 1892, known then as Durham City Camera Club, a Vote of Thanks was proposed and we have been following this tradition ever since.
As Joe Grabham was giving an eloquent vote of thanks to the marvellous Mavis Ord for her excellent show, the audience were so moved it became a four way conversation ... this to the huge enjoyment of the members who responded with warm acclaim. It was a first in 120 years!
