Annual Exhibition Durham Cathedral 1st to 17th June
Please deliver your prints to the club by 24th May. The organising team will label them and plan the layout on May 29th. Set up will be from 9.30 a.m 1st June. Volunteers welcome. The opening, with special guest Malcolm Kus, will be later that day, 6.00 to 7.30 p.m.
Competition Countdown
Closing date for Fillingham Trophy, Iris Trophy and Hon Members Cup is 17th May. Check rules carefully! Digital entries can be emailed to Roger any time from now
Assignment Barford Raceway
The revue session to show and discuss prints (up to 6 A4 size each) is Wednesday 16th May, County Hall, 7.00 pm. A gallery of images (8 each) on the DPS website will follow. Please email to David Forster asap

History Project
The aim is to archive the history of the Society on the DPS website. Contributions are already in from Janet Thackray who has kept all her programmes since 1964, and Don Bennett has found reports in the Durham Mercury describing the first meetings of the club in 1892. Anyone who has memorabilia, old photos etc please give to David Trout who is heading up the project

Beamish Museum

Next Club Night 17th May
The Halfords Cycle Tour Series is in town so parking on the night at the club might be a little more difficult. There are events all day from 10.00 a.m. with the main race at 7.00 p.m.
However, do not miss Mavis Ord’s presentation “The Path I Took in Photography”!
