The NCPF has just released the “headline results” of its Annual Competitions and there’s some good news for Durham Photographic Society! As a club, we finished second in the colour print and in the PDI sections – the best overall results we’ve had in recent years. In the individual awards, congratulations go to Stephen Bell and Ian Stafford, both of whom took third places. Stephen’s cracking shot of motorcyclist John McGuinness was judged third in the projected images section, while Ian picked up his colour print award with an atmospheric landscape “Penshaw Mist”. Detailed club and individual results (including Alliance and Portfolio acceptances) will be announced on the NCPF website in due course.
