Hundreds of bikers from all over the region and beyond assembled once again for this annual charity event at Carrville for the 2011 Bikewise Easter Egg Run. Members of the Durham Photographic Society, led by John Attle, were on hand to photograph the colourful and heart-warming proceedings, as the bikers registered and set off en masse through Durham City, led by Durham and Cleveland Constabulary outriders, to distribute Easter eggs to children’s wards in Darlington and Durham hospitals.
A further sum of £892 was raised for the Meningitis Research Foundation which was well up on the £780 raised last year.
