Extra! Practical Photography Night 9th August

From Ian Stafford:

Just to remind everyone that this Thursday (9th Aug) we're holding a practical evening to demonstrate the benefits of 'off camera flash'.

When it comes to off camera flash, many photographers often don't quite know where to start. You may have the subject in a specific location but have no idea how to proceed.

How should the camera be set?

What should the flash settings be?

Where should the light(s) be placed?

On this evening Paul Travis has kindly agreed to demonstrate the basics and answer those questions!

Sam, Stephen Bell's daughter has volunteered to act as model for the evening.

Bring your camera, flashgun and trigger (if you have them) to the club for a 7:00pm start. Even if you don't have a flashgun/trigger come along for the fun! You will be able to ask for help on other camera techniques also.
