BIRDS OF PREY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

Members who have put their name down can now pay the modest fee of £15 to Angy, which is exclusive to DPS members, from next week. We will also attempt to organise car sharing. Guidelines from Jed as to equipment etc are on the notice board.

2010 COMPETITION TROPHIES

It’s time to dust them down and return to the club so they can be engraved with the names of the 2011 winners.

PRESENTATION DINNER

The 2011 winners will be presented at our annual awards dinner which is on 27th January 2012 at Bowburn Hall Hotel. All members and guests are welcome to attend. Please put your names down on the list at the club

AGM NEWS

There was a good turnout and congenial atmosphere for the AGM which had to be postponed from the original slot due to the Lumiere Festival.

President David Trout announced the Society will be purchasing a high end Canon projector and state of the art Sony laptop capable of doing full justice to the new PDI standard of 1400x1050 px. President elect, Tony Griffiths revealed that the set subject for the 2012 Fillingham Trophy is, appropriately in London 2012 Olympics year, This Sporting Life.
