WEAR AREA BATTLE
Joe Grabham presented to the club the Wear Area trophy that we won at the Wear Area Battle as previously reported. Christine Oliphant was presented with the medal for best picture with The Conversation. See October Blog, The Story behind the Picture: The Conversation
TOWN HALL EXHIBITION: Autumn
Members’ prints are now on show in the Durham Town Hall entrance gallery until the end of November. Dennis Hardingham said, “This show is a joy - simply yet beautifully curated”.
CLUB NIGHT 18th November
As previously reported, this meeting has been cancelled due to the expected travel and parking problems in the City due to the start of the Lumiere festival. The AGM will now be 1st December
ASSIGNMENT NATIONAL GLASS CENTRE, SUNDERLAND RIVERSIDE
The review meeting to look at and discuss prints of pictures taken (one of the many enjoyable aspects of assignments), will be Tuesday, 15th November, County Hall, 7.00 to 9.00 p.m
BIRDS OF PREY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
Enough members have signed up for the 15th and 17th of December so the workshops will go ahead. Please let us know straight away if you have to drop out for any reason. Guidelines from Jed as to equipment etc is on the notice board
