HOT DATES 2011 – OCTOBER UPDATE

***For the second time this year it seems the 2 organisers of the Whitby Goth Weekend have caused a bit of a stir regarding the event. Whilst the official event is 4^th-6^th of November there is also a fringe event on the last weekend of October to coincide with the Bram Stoker Festival. Quite how many Goths will turn up is difficult to predict. My advice is to check out the WGW website and its related forums***

***Whilst the number of events this month is a bit sparse remember that Barford raceway is a great location for photography. Events are scheduled for 8^th 16^th and 30^th of October***

PICKERING WARTIME WEEKEND: 14^th to 16^th October

100 YEAR CELEBRATION OF TEESIDE TRANSPORTER BRIDGE: 16^th October

TURNER PRIZE AT BALTIC: 21^st October 2011 to 8^th January 2012

ZOMBIE PUB CRAWL: 29^th October from 11 o clock onwards in Newcastle.

WHITBY GOTHIC WEEKEND: 4^th to 6^th November

LUMIERE, Durham: 17^th to 20^th November

BOXING DAY DIP: 26^th December, Seaham and Seaburn, Sunderland
