WILD FLOWER FIELDS, DURHAM

Just south of the Cock of the North roundabout on the A167 are a couple of fields part sown with wild flowers, possibly by the Woodland Trust. Cornflowers, poppies and ox-eye daisies make for good photography opportunities. There is easy access via a layby on the left hand side.
