NCPF ANNUAL COMPETITIONS
Entries are flooding in from individual members and being organised by Alan Stott. Closing date at club level is March 11th. Up to 16 entries per member (full rules are posted on the Notice Board which is on the Home page of this website).
BOTANIC GARDENS EXHIBITION
There are still 20 places left for members wishing to exhibit a print. Put your name down soon as time is running out.
DURHAM TOWN HALL ENTRANCE GALLERY
An exhibition of members’ recent work is now showing. For April, we will exhibit Goth and Wartime Weekend portraits. Please bring your 20x16 mounted prints to the club asap.
PHOTOGRAPHY ASSIGNMENT –
An enjoyable day out was had by all, though the area covered was perhaps too big to easily stay in touch with fellow members! The follow up review will be at County Hall, Wed 17th March, 7 pm. Simply bring in three A4 prints plus as many smaller ones as you like.
CLUB NIGHT 8th APRIL
Much anticipated, this will be a PAGB Awards Workshop run by the renowned duo, Rod Wheelans MPAGB and Anne Greiner MPAGB. Members have the opportunity to have their pictures appraised during the evening by Rod and Anne, which is a golden opportunity for anyone interested in obtaining PAGB “Letters” or anyone looking for feedback from the masters. Please speak to Paul Ritchie if you need more information or wish to take part.
CLUB NIGHT 29th July
This will be a digital Audio Visual night where members will be showing their work. Please speak to Mavis Ord, who is organising the event, for more information. Mavis is also offering help and advice for those that need it. AV technology is moving on apace and if last year is anything to go by we are in for an exciting and enjoyable night. Work needs to start soon though!
