CLUB NIGHT NEWS 29.7.10

The first half of our year ended on a high note with a terrific members AV night. The audience were astounded and entertained by the variety and quality of work shown. Many thanks are due to Mavis Ord, an outstanding photographer and AV expert in her own right, for organising and introducing the evening.

Our next club night, after our August break, is Thursday 2nd September.

Before that there is a Digital Night on Wednesday 1st September, 7 to 10 pm, County Hall.

COMPETITION DEADLINES:

3rd Progress Projected Images – email entries to Roger now. Bring slides and discs to the club 2nd September with final call 9th September.

3rd Progress Prints – 9th September.

This great event will be the Assignment group August outing. As a one off, we are not meeting at any particular time or place. However, why not get together informally if you can? The latest issue of enews of the PAGB has a report of the PAGB Inter-Club PDI Championship which took place at Warwick 17th July. The Champion Club was Smethwick PS who beat last year’s winners, Wigan 10 FC into second place by just one point. Some stunning images are posted including one from Peter Gennard recently at the club. Full results will appear in issue 31.

The PAGB Inter-Club Print Championship will be at Connah’s Quay Saturday 23rd October.
